Current Events: My thoughts on the possible change of USU logo (Oldham)

I find myself saddened that the U-state logo may be phased out within the next few years. It seems the goal is to get back to identifying the institution with one logo. The A, in my opinion, is much less distinguishable and indentified than the U-state logo. How many U-state logos are out there? On the other hand, there are many universities who use an A logo. When people see the U-state logo nationally, people can identify and the same can’t necessarily be said about the A. I like both logos and understand the history of the A. Ideally I hope that something can be agreed upon to keep both.
