I don't consider myself politically savvy, but I have a few opinions on the new economic stimulus plan. In my humble opinion it seems as if this could be hurtful to the American people. I feel that if people aren't allowed to fail, and see what they did wrong, they will do it again. Look at the housing market and people who were in way over their head. Now that they can't pay their mortgage, they will get bailed out at the expense of the American people. No lesson learned.
In my life I've learned a few times through trial and error. For instance my freshman year at college I didn't have good habits in my studying and school life. In consequence I received bad grades. However, I learned that if I did the same I would continue to get bad grades and waste money and not be able to graduate. Therefore I changed and in turn got much better grades ever since.
There could be some good from the stimulus, but it seems there is a better way.
